Lane Use
This blog post represents the first in a series (hopefully perpetual) of blog posts that I’m going to categorize under “Things I Don’t Understand.” Every one of these is something I really just don’t understand. If you know the who, what, when, where, why, or how of any of my posts, please let me know.
So I’m driving down Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles and I come to a “Red Light.” I obviously prepare to stop, but for some ungodly reason about 10 other cars are in the lane next to mine and there are no cars in my lane. I’m not talking about a “turn-lane,” both the lanes (the empty and the full) were headed in the same direction.
I see this phenomenon all over the world… why? WTF? Why don’t people equally populate both lanes?
This has been one of the Things I Don’t Understand…
